We accept cancellations before items have been shipped. Simply message us letting us know you wish to cancel the order for a full refund before a shipping label has been created for your purchase.
We do allow returns and refunds if an item arrives damaged or the customer is not satisfied with the purchase. This is handled on a case by case basis. Wimberly Farm will do everything we can to make your experience with us enjoyable. We have built our business and farm on trust and plan to keep it that way. Just let us know if something comes up with your order!
Rabbit Purchase Policies
All will be directed to read this when they express interest in purchasing a rabbit or bunny.
We hold rabbits without a deposit. Because of this, we expect to hear form you within 2 days when we check in about your bunny. If we don't hear from you, your bunny will go back up for sale. Once bunnies are ready, you have 4 days to pick them up. If you are unable to pick them up within 4 days, you will be asked to pay a deposit of half the cost of the bunny for us to continue to hold them. After that we will hold for 1 more week. If not picked up by then, your bunny will go back up for sale and you will forfeit your deposit. We have very flexible hours, but pick-up is by appointment only.
Sexing errors are possible. We have a great deal of experience with this, so mistakes are rare, but they can occur. We will are not obligated to refund your money for a sexing error, but will try our best to find a solution if it is brought to our attention within a reasonable amount of time. We encourage you to check the sex of your bunny before leaving with it.
We monitor bunnies weights, behavior, and check their teeth before you pick them up to ensure you are getting a healthy, happy bunny. We offer a 48-hour guarantee-if something happens to your bunny within that time, bring them back and we will offer you another one. This will not be offered if it appears their has been improper care or harm done to the rabbit.
All rabbits come with a small bag of pellet and hay to help them transition. You can purchase larger bags from us if you like. We recommend no fruits, veggies, or treats for two weeks after pick-up. Feed your bunny nothing but pellet and hay until it has been in your possession for two weeks. Your rabbit will be well fed and watered before you pick it up.
Bring a carrier, box, etc. with you to pick up your bunny. We do not ship rabbits, but will do our best to meet transportation for rabbits provided by you. We also offer local delivery for $15. Please contact us to make sure you are within our delivery zone.
We offer a waitlist for our bunnies. We offer picks of the litter to those on the waitlist in order. They will have 24 hours to respond then we move on to the next on the list. If you are on the waitlist you are not guaranteed a bunny-this is based on litter size. We do try our best to provide everyone with the bunny they wanted and will love. We appreciate your patience in waiting for our bunnies, they are worth it!
We try to take back unwanted rabbits that came from our rabbitry if we have space available. We will not do so though if we suspect the rabbit is ill.
We do not guarantee the show results of any bunnies, but do have show quality Mini Rexes and English Lops.
Payments are due at pick-up. Acceptable payments are cash, venmo, cashapp, or paypal.
